Our Code of Conduct

At Latalia, we are committed to producing beautiful bags in a way that respects people and the planet.

We work exclusively with small artisan workshops in Florence, Italy, and we expect all of our partners to follow high standards for working conditions, human rights, and environmental responsibility.

Our Code of Conduct is based on internationally recognized labor standards, including the ILO conventions. It includes:

• No child labor or forced labor

• Fair wages and legal working hours

• Safe and respectful working environments

• Equal treatment and non-discrimination

• Responsible use of materials and safe handling of chemicals

• Commitment to continuous improvement

All our leather comes from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries in Italy, using hides from cows raised in the meat industry. We produce on demand, which means we avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste.

We believe that quality, responsibility, and transparency go hand in hand — and we’re proud to build long-term relationships based on trust and craftsmanship.
